Michael Boyle hired me to design a script logotype for his business. Since 2009 Boyle & Co has been serving clients like MGM Resorts, NBA Players, the Liberace Foundation, Opera Las Vegas, motion picture film sets and a number of other corporate and individual clients.

Design Process
1. Rough Illustration
The hand-lettered script “Boyle” is based on brush lettering. It rises up to make way for the sans-serif “& CO”. These two elements work together to create a balanced composition. The logo retains some imperfections to give the logotype a hand-crafted.

The line underneath “CO” represents the idea of serving by resembling a plate/platter form.
