Wayfinder Carry
Client: Hrag Nassanian | Art Direction: Hrag Nassanian
Hrag Nassanian, previously a bag designer at Nike, hired me to design a logotype for his brand, Wayfinder Carry. The modern logotype would be embossed onto products at small sizes.
Wayfinder Carry creates modern, performance built bags and accessories to let you explore and shape your future.

To communicate the uncertainty of travel and adventure, the right portion of the Y is missing. The top horizontal stroke of the “F” begins where the Y would end.
The angle used to define the negative space between the Y and F is used again on the angled strokes of N and R.

A lightweight version was created for small embossing (1-2in). The weight was reduced just enough so that the embossed version matched the look of the regular logo.
