Here they are!
These are my favorite five tools for hand lettering and links to where I buy them. I earn a commission from Amazon when you purchase something using a link on this page.
1. DRITZ SEWING RULER
A clear sewing ruler with evenly-spaced openings makes drawing slope guidelines super fast and easy.
2. TRACING PAPER
Tracing paper makes reiterating rough concepts quick. I buy the rolls because they are cheaper than the sheets.
3. PENCILS
I use an army of different pencils throught my drawing process. If I could only use one, I’d choose the lead-holder.
4. ERASER-PEN
Being able to hold the eraser like a pen makes erasing fine details easier and it doesn’t give you hand cramps.
5. DRAWING PAPER
I draw all of my final illustrations on smooth bristol. It’s durable and I love the way my mechanical pencil glides across it.
